Maxi Love

All those who know me will know that I have a big love for maxi skirts and dresses... Maybe it has something to do with the fact I'm a little on the maxi side myself. Anyway, whilst browsing through the feb issue of Vogue I came across these two maxi beauties! The green pleated Michael Kors design is my fave but I'm not sure if this is just because of the colour! I do love the shape of the uber bright orange Jill Sander creation and I have already sketched out a few versions of my own!
I have a feeling this summer my wardrobe will once again become maxied to the max!

Favourite vogue cover in a long time...

I've been buying Vogue since I was ten, purely because I liked the pictures... but it has become part of my monthly routine. I don't know why but for me its the equivalent of comfort food. I love to curl up on my bed with a cup of tea and look at the pretty pictures.

Present from Amazon...

This book arrived today - Fashion entrepreneur by Sandra Burke, not had chance to read loads yet but it appears to be really helpful! Kind of has a text book style, step by step advice with little tasks at the end. Defiantly a good starting point!

Getting there!!!

Because of a little thing called "Christmas" and another little thing called "my birthday", progress on the dress making front as been a little slow! Finally after much frustration and much swearing at my poor machine my first dress is almost finished!!
